Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Housekeeping team at Kickapoo Casino. As a Housekeeping Associate, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and well-functioned casino environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Keep gaming areas clean and clear of trash, including dusting, vacuuming, and wiping down gaming machines
  • Empty trashcans and ashtrays, and wash walls, ceiling, and woodwork
  • Keep restroom areas clean and sanitary, and replenish bathroom supplies
  • Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, corridors, stairways, and other work areas
  • Provide friendly and courteous customer service
  • Promptly report low supplies and equipment problems to Housekeeping Shift Supervisor

Requirements

  • Ability to walk or stand for long periods of time, and occasional bending, squatting, kneeling, and stooping
  • Good finger dexterity and feeling, and frequent repetitive motions
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and reach, bend, and stoop
  • Ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 5 hours)
  • Ability to communicate clearly with managers and staff
  • Kickapoo Tribal Gaming License

Working Conditions

Typical of a busy casino with heavy cigarette smoke and competing noises and communications. Flexible hours, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
