We are seeking a skilled Private Duty Nurse RN to join our team at Quality Talent Group. As a Private Duty Nurse RN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care in the comfort of their own homes.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver and coordinate quality patient care in compliance with physician orders.
- Continuously observe and assess patient condition and care needs, reporting changes to the supervisor and/or physician as necessary.
- Document all activities, assessments, nursing actions, responses, and coordination of care in a timely manner.
- Participate in and update the nursing care plan to ensure effective patient outcomes.
- Take appropriate nursing action based on assessment and achieve expected outcomes.
- Recognize changes in patient needs and responses requiring intervention and implement care to prevent risk or reduce risk.
- Accept responsibility for personal and professional accountability by complying with company policies, state and federal regulations, accrediting bodies, and the Nurse Practice Act.
- Provide care utilizing infection control measures that protect both staff and patient according to OSHA standards.
- Educate patients and families regarding the disease process, self-care techniques, and prevention strategies to meet patient nursing needs.
- Maintain knowledge of competencies related to the nursing profession by participating in educational programs, continued education units, internal learning management skills, and skill evaluations.
- 6 months experience as a practicing nurse (we offer an excellent New Grad Program for recent graduates).
- Nursing License (must be active and in good standing with the board).
- CPR Certification (must be current, Hands-on BLS).
