Job Description

In this role, you will support the mission of Children's Hospital Colorado by providing exceptional care to patients experiencing acute or chronic kidney failure.

Responsibilities:
  1. Deliver direct patient care aligning with established policies and state and federal regulations.
  2. Manage and oversee patients during acute and chronic dialysis treatments to maintain a safe environment and optimize outcomes.
  3. Participate in new hire training and orientation activities.
  4. Implement prescribed treatments, including Sodium (Na) modeling and Ultrafiltration modeling, ensuring stable treatment therapy.
  5. Assess patient response to treatment, communicate changes to Nephrology Providers, and take appropriate intervention.
  6. Direct patients in preventative maintenance of home therapies equipment, including water systems and analyses as appropriate.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
  • Three years of nursing experience, including two years dialysis, CRRT, or Apheresis nursing experience
  • BLS/CPR certification from the American Heart Association with at least 6 months left before expiration
  • Registered Nurse (RN) license
Benefits and Salary Information

We offer a competitive salary range of $75,957.07 to $113,935.61 per year, based on 40 hours worked per week, as well as an annual employee bonus program that rewards eligible team members based on organizational performance.
