Tax Advisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Advisor to join our team at Block Advisors. As a Tax Advisor, you will play a critical role in providing tax preparation, tax audit support, and tax planning services to our clients.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their tax needs and provide personalized service.
• Prepare and review tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with tax laws and regulations.
• Conduct tax interviews with clients, either in-person or virtually, to gather information and provide guidance on tax planning and audit support.
• Identify opportunities to grow business and increase client retention through the sale of additional products and services.
• Stay up-to-date with tax laws and regulations, and maintain expertise in tax planning and audit support.

• 5+ years of tax experience, with a focus on individual tax returns and tax planning.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or equivalent.
• Must complete continuing education requirements and meet all other IRS and applicable state requirements.
