Job Summary

Operate and maintain all equipment, including HVAC systems, high-pressure boilers, generators, and steam equipment. Read and record information from meters and gauges at specified intervals to verify operating conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Quality Customer Service: Deliver one-on-one attention to detail and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Respond to Dispatch Calls: Use company vehicle to respond to machine repair requests.
  • Conduct Customer Visits: Determine adequacy of service, listen to and resolve service complaints.
  • Inspect and Repair Equipment: Visually inspect and listen to machines to identify causes of malfunctions, dismantle machines to gain access to problem areas, and repair or replace worn or defective parts.
  • Manage Inventory and Equipment: Review inventory, order parts, ship and receive machines and equipment, and maintain equipment inventory.
  • Operate Mechanical Equipment: Set up and operate mechanical equipment and small hand tools for machine and equipment repair.
  • Maintain a Safe Work Environment: Perform job safely and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Support the Team: Demonstrate support of the department by striving for excellence, contribute to the team, and exhibit professionalism with customers, fellow employees, and others.
Requirements
  • Type I Refrigeration Certification
  • Valid Non-CDL Class C driver's license
