We are seeking a qualified fixed-wing King Air Pilot to deliver medical air transportation services. The ideal candidate will be proficient in operating King Air aircraft. Our pilots work in a structured schedule of 1 week on/1 week off, handling both day and night flights. Safety is paramount in our operations, and our pilots are part of a dedicated, professional team committed to maintaining high safety standards for both crew and clients.
Essential Qualifications:
- Commercial Airplane Multi-Engine Land (C-AMEL) certification required; must be willing to obtain ATP within 5 years of employment.
- Valid and unexpired driver's license.
- Current FAA Class I or II Medical Certificate.
- A minimum of 2,500 total flight hours.
- At least 1,000 hours as Pilot in Command (PIC).
- 500 hours of Cross Country flight time.
- 500 hours in multi-engine aircraft.
- 100 night flight hours.
- 75 instrument flight hours (50 of which must be actual).
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with a team of medical professionals to ensure safe transport of patients to various locations.
- Ensure aircraft is ready for flight according to all relevant manuals, regulations, and cleanliness standards.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for all flights, including load manifests and shift logs.
- Communicate effectively with air and ground dispatch, flight crews, and associated facilities.
- Provide transition information to incoming pilots and adhere to protocols for recording operational changes.
- Stay current with required certifications and participate in ongoing training.
Working Conditions:
- Must be able to work in various outdoor weather conditions.
- Responsibilities may include de-icing the aircraft and assisting with towing and hangar maneuvers.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as necessary.
- Must be capable of lifting up to 70 pounds.
- Vision requirements include close, distant, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Work Schedule:
- Shifts are typically 12 hours long, with 7 days on and 7 days off, starting at either 0500 or 1700. Occasionally, shifts may extend beyond 12 hours, but generally not exceeding 15 hours.
