At HCA Florida Northside Hospital, we are committed to delivering exceptional patient care. We are seeking a skilled Operating Room Registered Nurse to join our Surgical Services Department. This role requires a strong clinical expertise to ensure high-quality care for patients in a surgical environment.Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, intervene, and evaluate the care of intra-operative patients.
- Assist surgeons in operative procedures.
- Maintain and review patients' records, including posting tests and examination results.
- Administer medications in accordance with physician orders.
Requirements
- Licensure as a Florida Registered Nurse in accordance with state regulations or appropriate compact licensure.
- Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
- Previous experience in an acute care setting is strongly preferred.
- Current American Heart Association BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is required.
- Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills are essential.
- This role requires full vaccination for COVID-19 based on local, state, and/or federal law or regulations (unless a medical or religious exemption is approved).
