Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Machine Operator Assistant to join our team at ProAmpac. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing equipment and processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Position feeder for length of bag, side board, and suction cups.
  • Transfer hands of bags from pallet to machine.
  • Monitor machines for jams and remove them as needed.
  • Pull busted or bad print bags and unstick bags when necessary.
  • Reset or line our machine to proper adjustment after a jam occurs.
  • Notify the PBOM Bottomer Operator of malfunctions or continual problems.
  • Assist the PBOM Bottomer Operator on set-ups and changeovers of machine.
  • Assist PBOM Bottomer Operator by sweeping and mopping, when machine is down and all work in area is complete.
  • Follow instructions and requests from PBOM Bottomer Operator and management.
  • Report to work on time, and be dependable.
  • Seek out information on orders and job duties when in doubt.
  • Communicate well with other assistant operators at shift change.
  • Stay in work area, unless receives permission from PBOM Operator or supervisor.
  • Keep floor free from obstructions, bags and other materials, and keep general work area clean.
  • Follow all GMP, AIB regulations.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • 12hr Night Shift 7PM to 7AM
Education
  • High School or better
