Position Overview:
As a Radiologic Technologist specializing in CT, you will deliver exceptional patient-centered healthcare services, adhering to physician directives and complying with Texas State Laws and company protocols. You must possess a current ARRT license in Texas and have documented CT experience. Your role involves executing prescribed techniques for obtaining both general and specific x-rays and CT scans for diagnostic evaluation. Additionally, you will conduct laboratory tests in line with industry standards and CLIA regulations. We are looking for candidates for full-time night shifts and various full-time and PRN roles across the DFW area.

Key Responsibilities:

Qualifications:
- Graduate from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- Proven ability to work with patients of all ages.
- Documented clinical experience in CT scanning.
- Capability to perform CT procedures independently.
- Proficiency in assisting with specialized procedures that require sterile techniques.
- Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology is mandatory.
- Maintain a current ARRT License and Texas MRT License in good standing.
- BLS certification is required; ACLS certification is a plus.
- Continuing education hours are necessary for license renewal as per state guidelines.
- Successful completion of background checks.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Radiology and CT; experience in free-standing Emergency Centers is advantageous.
- Exceptional technical skills are essential.

Radiology Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients for x-ray and CT procedures, providing clear explanations to patients and their families.
- Set up the examination room, equipment, and necessary materials.
- Position patients appropriately and utilize immobilization and support devices.
- Implement radiation protection measures to minimize exposure for patients and staff.
- Adjust equipment settings to ensure optimal imaging results.
- Conduct routine x-ray examinations and monitor patients throughout the procedures.
- Document all procedures performed in patient charts.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the radiology room and equipment, including inventory management.
- Perform quality assurance tests and keep accurate records.
- Assist with front-end registration and other clerical tasks as needed.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and medical terminology is required.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while delivering excellent patient care and service.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays as necessary.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills are essential.
- Effective time management and multitasking abilities are required.
- Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Windows, Microsoft Office, and EMR/EMP systems.
