Job Summary

Chi is seeking a highly skilled EEG Tech to join our team. As an EEG Tech, you will be responsible for providing neurological diagnostics procedures in all patient care areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess diagnostics needs of patients and work under medical supervision operating sophisticated medical equipment.
  • Be knowledgeable and skilled in all EEG and EMG diagnostic testing.
  • Use reading skills and verbal communication skills continuously.
  • Use written communication skills frequently.
  • Delegations, conflict resolution, individual and group interactions, time management, critical thinking, and stress management are essential job requirements.
Requirements
  • One to two years of clinical experience in EEG/EMG lab or medical assisting experience.
  • Registered Electroencephalographic (EEG) Technologist through the American Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic and Evoked Potential Technologists.
  • BLS or BLS instructor certification is required upon hire.
Acceptable Credentialing Bodies and Certifications
  • American Red Cross: CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer, American Safety and Health Institute: CPR, PRO, must say "Professional Level-with AED", and American Heart Association: Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers.
