About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Lifeguard to join our team at the YMCA of Greater Indianapolis. As a Lifeguard, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety of all participants in and around the pool, responding to emergencies, and administering CPR and First Aid effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide a safe environment for all participants in and around the pool
  • Respond to emergencies and administer CPR and First Aid effectively
  • Work under the direction of the Aquatic Coordinator/Program Specialist and Head Guard
  • Must be at least 16 years of age
Requirements
  • Must have the ability to pass basic lifeguard skills test
  • Must possess and have the ability to relate to and communicate with people of all ages, cultures, and abilities
  • Maintain current certifications or obtain within 60 days of employment
