We are building a SaaS platform that transforms commercial lending by helping banks build deeper relationships with their clients, open new opportunities and deliver credit decisions faster, with lower risk and greater efficiency. Our mission is to help lenders fill the gap in the market referred to as the "Missing Middle."
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Strategic Commercial Lending Product Manager to lead our product development efforts, shape our product vision and strategy, and drive growth through innovative solutions. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of the commercial lending space, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for building great products.
About Us
OakNorth Small and medium-size enterprises (SMEs) are one of the biggest drivers of growth and innovation in economies worldwide. However, many SMEs face difficulties raising capital during critical stages of their company growth. Traditional commercial lending is optimized for loans that are either too small or too large and expensive. At OakNorth, we aim to solve this problem by building a SaaS platform called the Credit Intelligence Suite.
Your Role
- Manage product development for one of our core products, covering product management, design, architecture, development, and measurement.
- Use research and design methodologies to uncover, map, and communicate user and customer journeys.
- Shape and convey product vision and strategy and maintain a clear product roadmap.
- Build relationships with key clients, partners, and internal colleagues to capture requirements and feedback.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
- Demonstrable experience in and understanding of the commercial lending space.
- At least 10 years of career experience as a Product Leader.
- A passion for building great products and driving growth through innovative solutions.
- Excellent leadership skills and the ability to inspire internal and external stakeholders.
Compensation
The salary range for this role is $150,000 - $200,000 per year, plus bonus and equity. We believe that our compensation package reflects the value we place on our employees' contributions to our success.
