  • Update and maintain accurate records of tool inventory and equipment maintenance
  • Conduct thorough inspections and diagnose problems to identify root causes
  • Operate equipment safely and efficiently to minimize downtime and maximize productivity
  • Ensure all equipment is properly labeled and maintained
  • Collaborate with operators and superintendents to review maintenance records and major repairs
  • Perform repairs with precision and accuracy to meet quality standards
  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues to minimize downtime
  • Report machinery defects and safety concerns to management
  • Maintain a clean and organized shop area to ensure efficient workflow
  • Comply with federal, state, and local regulations regarding equipment maintenance and safety

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Certificate in Diesel or Automotive Technology (preferred)
  • One to two years of related experience (preferred)
  • Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification (preferred)

Work Environment:

  • Exposure to hazards and physical risks when visiting jobsites
  • Moderate exposure to elements such as extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, and loud noises
  • Exposure to moving mechanical parts, fumes, airborne particles, and toxic chemicals
  • Occasional exposure to wet and/or humid conditions, high places, outside weather conditions, and risk of electrical shock
