Job Summary

Hilmar Cheese Company is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Inventory Control Operator to join our team. As an Inventory Control Operator, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining inventories, including daily cycle counts and year-end audits.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain accurate inventory records, including cycle counts and year-end audits.
  • Responsible for creating and updating inventory reports, including cycle count reports.
  • Collaborate with warehouse personnel to ensure accurate inventory levels and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Provide excellent customer service to internal customers, answering questions and resolving issues related to inventory.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize inventory management processes.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional teams, including warehouse, production, and quality assurance.
  • Stay up-to-date with company policies and procedures, including food safety and sanitation guidelines.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1-2 years of experience in inventory management or a related field.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills, with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and inventory management software.
