Key Responsibilities
  • Assembly Operations Management: Supervise and coordinate the assembly of electronic components, ensuring that all products meet quality and safety standards.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of assembly technicians, providing guidance and training to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to perform their duties.
  • Inventory Management: Manage and maintain inventory levels of shop supplies, ordering consumable items as required to ensure smooth production operations.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular quality checks to ensure that all products meet the required standards, identifying and addressing any defects or issues.
  • Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other stakeholders to ensure that all production goals and objectives are met.
Requirements
  • Education: A Secondary Certificate/High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Experience: 1-3 years related experience and/or training in electronics assembly, including harnesses, cables, and printed wiring assemblies per Military Specifications.
  • Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents, write routine reports, and communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Suites (Word, Excel, Outlook) and ability to operate pneumatic and electrical operating machines, hand, electric and air tools, calipers, soldering/de-soldering tools, and other assorted tools/machines normally associated with an electronics manufacturing area.
Working Conditions

The Electronics Assembly Supervisor will work in a fast-paced production environment, frequently or constantly exerting up to 20 pounds of force and occasionally exerting up to 50 pounds of force to move/lift objects.
