Job Description

Schedule: PRN | Minimum 3 shifts per month | Monday-Friday | 8 am – 4:30 pm

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team at BEK Care, LLC. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality speech-language therapy services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate clients; obtain and interpret data necessary for treatment from medical records, observation of client in natural setting, interviews, and administration of standardized tests and measurements.
  • Develop treatment plans and programs, including short and long-term anticipated functional outcomes, and administer speech-language therapy treatment.
  • Provide quality care that meets client's goals and needs by performing periodic client re-evaluations to determine effectiveness of treatments; then adjusting treatment plan and program appropriately to reach functional outcome.
  • Maintain same day admission philosophy and communicate when this is unachievable and coordinate with RN case managers when admission can occur.
  • Communicate to case manager when admission cannot occur within 48 hours.

Requirements:

  • Must complete and pass a state required background study.
  • Graduate of an accredited program for Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Current license to practice speech language therapy in Minnesota and North Dakota.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Must have a car with required insurance coverage and a valid driver's license.
  • Able to incorporate all aspects of speech therapy in total patient care.
  • Possess computer skills and solid management of documentation processes.
  • Able to physically perform the duties required by the position.
  • Required to have the ability to read, write and speak English well enough to communicate with staff, patients, families and facilities.
