Youth Development Professional

Christian Children's Home of Ohio seeks a skilled Youth Development Professional to join our residential program team. As a Caring Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting the growth and development of our young residents, providing a stable and loving environment that fosters trust and confidence.
Key Responsibilities- Provide one-on-one and group support to residents, focusing on building strong relationships and promoting positive behaviors.
- Assist with daily routines, including meal planning, hygiene education, and recreational activities designed to promote socialization and fun.
- Maintain accurate records and reports, utilizing HMIS software to track progress and communicate effectively with our multidisciplinary team.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement individualized treatment plans, addressing the unique needs of each resident.
- A minimum of 21 years old, with a valid Ohio driver's license and an insurable driving record.
- A high school diploma or equivalent, with previous experience working with children preferred but not required.
- Ability to pass a background check, drug test, and Department of Justice National Sex Offender search.
- Must be able to maintain compliance with CCHO's requirements for using physical restraints (SCM: Safe Crisis Management).
- A competitive salary range of $40,000 - $55,000 annually, depending on experience.
