Aerotek connects skilled workers with employers. We are seeking an Avionics Electrician to work in a Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) environment. This is a 6-month contract position in Aurora, Oregon, with an estimated salary of $42/Hr based on experience. Key responsibilities include inspecting, cleaning, testing, and removing wiring from heavy-lift helicopters, interpreting maintenance manuals and wiring diagrams, selecting wiring and components, building wire harnesses, and installing them on aircraft in the hangar.

The initial schedule will be a 5-day week, then moving to a 4-day week. Benefits include weekly pay, medical, dental & vision insurance, life insurance, health advocacy, employee assistance programs, a 401(k) plan, and employee discounts. Aerotek is an equal opportunity employer.

As an experienced Avionics Electrician, you will be responsible for disassembling, repairing, fabricating parts as necessary, reassembling, installing, and documenting maintenance actions on Boeing CH-47 airframes. You will also build on harness tables and ergonomic pivoted boards, and work in the 2nd story Avionics fabrication shop.
