Job Description

PA Cyber seeks an experienced Virtual Classroom Teacher to instruct students in a live virtual setting and provide feedback on classroom performance and course progress. This role requires maintaining student records, monitoring remediation, and conducting live tutoring sessions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Orient students to their course, communicate course requirements, and monitor student progress.
  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of assigned course(s) and create lesson plans aligned to state standards.
  • Conduct daily live instruction, hold office hours for individual questions, and create OnDemand lessons.
  • Grade assessments, post grades, and monitor student progress, recommending interventions as necessary.
  • Administer state assessments, attend department meetings, and implement student IEPs and 504 Plans.
Requirements

This position requires a Bachelor's Degree, valid Pennsylvania teaching certification, and experience in job-related fields. Child Abuse Clearance, Pennsylvania State Police Criminal Record Check, and Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Clearance are also mandatory.

Estimated Salary Range: $60,000 - $90,000 per year
