About the Role

The Clinical Manager (CM) serves as a key member of the treatment team, facilitating the continuum of care for clients from admission to discharge. This role collaborates closely with the Clinical Director to monitor treatment progress, develop group programs, and implement assignments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintains HIPAA compliance in all client communication and demonstrates competency in DSM-V usage.
  • Provides initial screenings for potential client admissions as needed.
  • Documents client sessions and processes discharges as required.
  • Exhibits cultural sensitivity and ethical treatment of all clients.
  • Maintains professional boundaries, appearance, demeanor, and effective communication.
  • Assumes all duties and responsibilities assigned to therapists.
  • Completes competency reviews and training, in addition to routine performance reviews.
  • Attends weekly staffing meetings with the treatment team.
  • Audits team documentation in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
  • Prepares group materials for substance abuse counselors aligned with current curriculum.
  • Manages a minimum client case load of 8-10.
  • Processes group sessions two times per week with the current client case load.

Job Qualifications
  • Master's Degree in a Behavioral Health discipline, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field, with a minimum of 2 years post-graduate experience.
  • Clinical license eligibility (LCAC, LMHC, LCSW) is required.
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask, with exceptional time management skills.
  • Capacity to encourage and inspire direct reports in delivering exceptional clinical services through professionalism.
  • Demonstration of a client-centered team approach, with advanced computer skills.
  • Understanding of Behavioral Health and substance abuse disorders.
  • Scheduling flexibility is required to accommodate varied client admissions, including weekend and on-call assignments.
