We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Parking Valet Attendant to join our team at the Fort Worth Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. As a Parking Valet Attendant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while ensuring the safe and efficient movement of vehicles to designated parking locations.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Issue parking stubs or place numbered tags in vehicles, providing guests with tags for locating parked vehicles.
  • Drive vehicles to designated valet parking locations, park, secure, and note the space of the vehicle, log, return the tag and keys to the valet key podium/booth.
  • Alert security staff and/or supervisor of any potential hazardous situations.
  • Inspect vehicles to detect any damage, alerting the supervisor and guests of any and all damages to the vehicle as well as any other relevant information.
  • Greet all guests, open vehicle doors, explain valet procedures and hours of operation, tag keys, and answer any questions guests may have about the destination or directions.
  • Operate various types of vehicles with both standard and manual transmissions.
  • Take numbered tags from guests and locate vehicles, securing vehicles until confirmation of payment for service.
  • Place appropriate signage in areas for valet service and retrieve signs for storage, perform access control duties.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work and parking area, ensuring space usage is maximized.
  • Direct guests to parking areas or parking spaces, provide other general directions to motorists/guests.
  • Lift, position, and remove barricades to open or close parking areas.

**Requirements**

  • Must be 21 years of age at time of appointment.
  • Possession of a valid State of Texas driver's license with no license suspension or revocation within the prior five (5) years at time of appointment.
  • Knowledge of safe driving procedures.
  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services.
  • Public Safety and Security knowledge of relevant equipment, policies, procedures, and strategies to promote effective local, state, or national security operations.
  • Ability to perform general physical activities required by the job, including lifting, reaching, climbing stairs and ladders, carrying heavy loads, normal hearing, sight, and speaking abilities, hand-eye coordination, grasping, bending, writing, and walking.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Active Listening, Oral Expression, Oral Comprehension, Problem Sensitivity, and Equipment Selection skills.
