POSITION:
Adjunct Instructor of Audiology

DESCRIPTION:
East Texas Baptist University invites applications for a part-time position in Speech-Language Pathology Program. The position involves teaching undergraduate courses in audiology and aural rehabilitation. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing syllabus and course content, selecting textbooks and other course materials, and teaching undergraduate courses as assigned. The candidate will also use the Learning Management System (Canvas) to post course content and grades, and maintain availability to meet with students concerning course.

QUALIFICATIONS:
ETBU seeks qualified individuals with a Ph.D. or Au.D. degree in Audiology or Speech, Language, and Hearing Science. Candidates must have expertise in audiology and aural rehabilitation. Candidates with at least 3 years of teaching experience are preferred. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to academic scholarship and the ability to communicate well with students and colleagues in a collaborative and respectful learning environment. They must also understand evidence-based practice and the integration of teaching and clinical practice. Additionally, the candidate must engage in ongoing professional development and opportunities focused on pedagogical growth. The candidate must demonstrate a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and live lifestyles consistent with the University's biblical standards of morality, temperance, stewardship, as well as membership and active participation in the individual's local Christian church.
