Swine Technician

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Swine Technician to join our team at Pipestone. As a Swine Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the health and well-being of our swine herd, while also maintaining a safe and efficient working environment.

• Monitor and maintain the health and well-being of the swine herd, including administering vaccinations and medications as needed.
• Perform daily tasks such as feeding, watering, and cleaning the swine facilities.
• Assist with the maintenance of equipment and facilities, including repairs and replacements as needed.
• Participate in biosecurity protocols to prevent the introduction and spread of disease.
• Collaborate with other team members to achieve production targets and maintain a safe working environment.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ years of experience in livestock care or a related field preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
