Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Kaweah Health is a leading healthcare provider in central California, seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team.
Key Responsibilities- Operate and execute Nuclear Medicine procedures with expertise in Nuclear Medicine units and ability to perform any and all procedures expertly.
- Prepare, execute, and complete procedures within the Nuclear Medicine environment, including proper order review, basic and advanced Nuclear Medicine skills, knowledge of Radioactive materials handling/safety, and regulatory compliance.
- Perform all Nuclear Medicine exams at the Diagnostic Center, including PET/CT and Cardiac Nuclear Medicine exams.
- Prepare isotope kits, calculate doses, and log information according to policy and state regulations.
- Scan patients, inject radiopharmaceutical agents, and log patient information according to policy.
- Measure radioactive dosage prescribed for patients with a dose calibrator and maintain records required by federal, state, and The Joint Commission regulations.
- Perform quality control/quality assurance studies as necessary and maintain current Basic Life Support certification.
- CA Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) certification.
- BLS certification.
- ARRT(N) or NMTCB certification preferred.
