Staff Psychiatrist

The Psychiatrist is responsible for providing medical and psychiatric care to patients, ensuring their treatment plan is up-to-date and effective. This role requires a Doctoral degree in Medicine (MD or DO) and completion of psychiatric residency training. A minimum of one year of post-graduate practice experience is preferred.
Key Responsibilities- Provides clinical services to patients, adhering to medical protocols and regulations.
- Reviews medical information to ensure patient stability and offers medical recommendations.
- Evaluates patients for mental, emotional, or behavioral disorders.
- Treats or directs treatment of patients using various psychotherapeutic methods and medications.
- Reviews and completes medical information for individual care plans, documents services, and maintains confidential documentation.
- Doctoral degree in Medicine (MD or DO) and completion of psychiatric residency training.
- One or more years of post-graduate practice experience preferred.
- Current license to practice medicine in the state where the facility operates.
- Board certification or certificate of admissibility for board certification in a behavioral health specialty.
- Current DEA credentials to prescribe controlled substances without restrictions.
