Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide social work support to general education and special education students as mandated by their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
  • Collaborate with teachers to develop and monitor student responses to behavior intervention plans.
  • Conduct functional behavior assessments and communicate results to team members.
  • Facilitate educational and behavioral interventions to promote student success.
  • Identify and refer students to community resources as needed.

Requirements:

  • Master's Degree in Social Work
  • Valid Social Work license issued in the state of Michigan
  • School Social Work Certificate (SSW-310)
