HealthRIGHT 360 is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Nurse Manager to join our medical team in San Mateo county. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for providing clinical and administrative oversight to our medical settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Spearheading continuous quality improvement efforts to ensure high-quality patient care
  • Supervising and supporting medical assistants and other nurses to develop their professional skills
  • Managing activities associated with data management, vaccine management, laboratory, hazardous waste disposal, and supply chain
  • Providing primary care nursing support to patients and developing/implementing/monitoring systems to support that care
  • Collaborating with the Telecare team and medical assistants to support care outside of office hours

Clinical Care Responsibilities:

  • Providing nursing care to residents of the Cordilleras Mental Health Rehabilitation Center and the San Mateo MAT Clinic according to pre-arranged schedules
  • Facilitating team functioning and efficiency by taking responsibility for additional patient assessments or medical assistant functions
  • Ensuring return of all ordered/performed testing and consultations
  • Following-up with all patients and the Telecare team regarding recent medical emergency room visits and medical inpatient stays

Administrative Responsibilities:

  • Managing relationships with external vendors and partners, including hazardous waste disposal, laboratory, specialty pharmacies, and the San Mateo County Immunization Program
  • Monitoring equipment and ensuring that equipment is in good working order
  • Ensuring collection and reporting of data as needed to meet regulatory and funding criteria

Requirements:

  • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
  • Two years of direct patient care experience in ambulatory care and/or a community health center
  • Experience in quality management and performance improvement
  • Bilingual Spanish/English
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, specifically Word, Excel, Outlook, and internet applications

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of co-occurring disorders and trauma-informed care
  • Experience with electronic medical records
  • Integrity to handle sensitive information in a confidential manner
