Position Details- Specialty: Telemetry

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Active Alabama RN license
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience
- Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) is essential
- Required skills include:
- Cardiac Monitoring
- Gastrointestinal and renal failure management
- IV administration, including heparin, insulin, and PCA
- Orthopedic experience
- Care for CVA, spinal cord injuries, and traumatic brain injuries
- Respiratory care experience
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Local candidates may also be considered
- Floating between specialties and campuses is required
- COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations are mandatory, with exemptions available for medical or religious reasons
This unit primarily focuses on orthopedic, post-surgical, and trauma care, with a dedicated section for oncology patients. Nurses certified in chemotherapy may administer treatments as needed.
