Assembly Technician

Location: Quakertown, PA
Pay Range: $19-20/hour
Hours: Mon-Fri 6am-2:30pm (Guaranteed Overtime)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembly Technician to join our team. As a Mechanical Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for reading and interpreting blueprints, operating power tools and equipment, and handling and working with different types of materials.
Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate assembly
- Operate power tools and equipment, such as band saws, table saws, and grinders
- Handle and work with different types of materials, including metals and plastics
- Document work process and maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year related assembly experience and/or training
- High School Degree or GED equivalent
- Experience working with a forklift preferred
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret blueprints
- Effective communication skills
- Proficiency in basic math
