Job Description

PACU Nurse Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional care to patients from infancy to geriatrics in the post-anesthesia care unit (PACU).
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and administer medications as needed.
  • Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A current California nursing license.
  • Current CPR and ACLS certifications.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a hospital setting.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to adapt to change quickly and prioritize tasks efficiently.
Preferred Qualifications

Experience working in an Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) is a plus. Team-oriented and patient-focused individuals are encouraged to apply.
