Job Summary and Qualifications
The Registered Nurse is responsible for coordinating and delivering exceptional, patient-centered care. Collaborating with medical professionals, the RN provides pre-operative and post-operative care, advocating for patients to ensure an outstanding healthcare experience.
Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate knowledge of human growth and development, treatment assessment, and patient care across various age groups.
- Uphold customer service standards aligned with Skyline Medical Center's values.
- Document all aspects of patient care accurately.
- Utilize the Nursing Process to tailor care to individual patient needs.
- Exhibit proficiency in technical skills and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with National Patient Safety Goals, assessing patient conditions upon admission and throughout each shift, and reporting any changes.
- Administer prescribed medications and monitor patient responses.
- Maintain current knowledge of medications, procedures, and equipment relevant to cardiac and medical-surgical care.
Qualifications:
- Current Registered Nurse license in Tennessee or an appropriate compact state.
- Strong communication skills.
- Education: ASN or BSN preferred.
