Foster Farms is seeking a highly skilled Breeder Manager to oversee the production of quality hatching eggs at the Arkansas Breeder Complex. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all functions and assets associated with breeder production, ensuring the lowest possible costs and highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage breeder production issues and oversee the execution of plans for placements, vaccinations, bird movements, and pertinent paperwork.
  • Meet with staff, farm managers, and farm owners to discuss production goals and progress.
  • Meet with vendors to obtain project bids and recommendations, and handle billing issues.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Animal Science or a related field is desirable.
  • At least 5 years of experience in breeder management or equivalent experience.
  • High level of initiative and self-motivation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in computer skills.
  • Ability to follow and enforce all company policies.
