Job Overview:
Department: Cardiac Catheterization Labs

Shift Details:
Morning hours from 07:00 to 17:30, Monday to Friday (4 Days/10 Hours)

Weekly Hours:
40 Hours

Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, prepare, and position patients for cardiac procedures.
- Administer conscious sedation and monitor hemodynamic status as required.
- Develop, execute, and document patient care plans.
- Relay patient status to physicians throughout the procedural process.
- Conduct and/or assist in diagnostic, therapeutic, and interventional cardiac procedures.
- Set up and manage necessary equipment and supplies before, during, and after procedures.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Assist physicians during specialized radiologic procedures, necessitating advanced training and experience in the cardiac catheterization lab.
- Serve as a knowledgeable resource for colleagues regarding hemodynamic monitoring and radiation safety.

Procedures performed include, but are not limited to, coronary angiograms, percutaneous transluminal coronary angioplasties (PTCAs), stent placements, pediatric and adult heart catheterizations, and electrophysiology studies.

Required Certifications:
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Strong technical skills
- Passionate about patient care
- Minimum of two years of recent experience as a Cardiac Cath Lab Technician
- Graduate from an accredited Radiology Tech program
- Active and unrestricted state license
- One year of experience with Cerner

Additional Requirements:
- COVID-19 vaccination with two shots and a booster
