Job Title: Registered Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Eisenhower Health. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.

Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing direct patient care, collaborating with patients, families, peers, physicians, and other members of the healthcare team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes. This role requires strong assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Assessment and Planning: Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical, psychosocial, and spiritual needs, and develop individualized plans of care to address these needs.
  • Implementation and Evaluation: Implement care plans, prioritize nursing interventions, and evaluate patient outcomes to ensure optimal care.
  • Patient Education and Discharge Planning: Provide education to patients and families, and coordinate discharge planning to ensure a smooth transition to home or other care settings.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work effectively with interdisciplinary teams, communicate clearly and concisely, and maintain accurate and timely documentation.
  • Professional Development: Participate in ongoing education and professional development to maintain clinical competence and stay current with best practices.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree required.
  • Licensure/Certification: Current California RN licensure and American Heart Association BLS certification required. ACLS certification preferred.
  • Experience: Preferably 1-2 years of experience in the area of specialty or higher acuity.
