Logistics Coordinator

Voyager Nation is seeking a skilled Logistics Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our dispatch operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of shipments from pickup to delivery. Your excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment will be essential in this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate with our OTR Owner Operator fleet and dedicated drivers to meet KPIs and service standards.
• Communicate with customers regarding freight details, delivery or pickup times, and special handling requests.
• Plan and optimize routes to ensure efficient delivery and pickup operations.
• Prepare dispatch documents, generate freight bills and invoices, and maintain accurate records of dispatched calls, driver routes, and delivery/pickup times.
• Monitor driver performance and provide feedback as needed.
• Collaborate with other dispatchers and departments to ensure seamless operations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Bilingual preferred (English/Spanish).
• 2-3 years of experience in transportation, preferably with an OTR fleet or customer service.
• Exceptional ability to schedule drivers, plan routes, and dispatch drivers to customer locations.
• Excellent customer service skills and experience generating freight bills and invoices.
• Proficiency in office software, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to work well in an office setting, managing multiple tasks, and being a team player.
• Great communication and negotiation skills.
• Knowledge of applicable transportation regulations and laws.
