About the Job:

  • Full-time position with varied shifts, including days and nights
  • Assess patient needs, develop care plans, and provide care based on identified needs and physician orders, adhering to standards, policy, and procedure
  • Develop and implement patient education plans, communicating and collaborating with other team members to facilitate care delivery
  • Responsible for patient care, self, and peers as professional nurses, charge nurse, clinical supervisor, unit director, and CNO
  • Build collaborative relationships with medical staff and other healthcare team members and administrative personnel
  • Maintain cooperative working relationships with ancillary departments and the entire healthcare team
  • Effective verbal and written communication, as well as utilization of the EMR
  • Provide expertise to staff by assessing care quality and quantity, evaluating, and intervening in care management as necessary
  • Oversee unit operations in the absence of the Director or CNO, collaborating with them as needed
  • Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
  • Varying shifts, including 3x12s, with days and nights

Requirements:

  • Current MS RN license
  • Associate degree in Nursing, Bachelor's degree preferred
  • BLS certification, ACLS preferred
  • New graduates welcome
