Position Overview

The Bartender role is essential in delivering an exceptional experience for guests by crafting unique cocktails and providing insights into the selection of local craft beers and wines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for patrons at the bar and restaurant.
• Engage with customers, take orders, and serve food and drinks.
• Evaluate customer preferences and offer tailored recommendations.
• Combine ingredients to create a variety of cocktails.
• Design and showcase the bar menu.
• Verify customer identification to ensure compliance with legal drinking age requirements.
• Restock and maintain bar supplies and inventory.
• Focus on guest satisfaction and foster a welcoming atmosphere.
• Adhere to all food and beverage safety regulations.
• Possess in-depth knowledge of classic cocktails and demonstrate the ability to prepare them efficiently.
• Exhibit excellent communication skills to create memorable experiences for guests and promote outstanding service.
• Check in with guests to ensure their satisfaction throughout their visit.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including guest areas and bar equipment.
• Complete opening and closing tasks while following established procedures.
• Follow cash handling protocols, accurately processing payments and providing bills to guests.
• Understand pour-cost management and participate in inventory assessments to maintain appropriate stock levels.

Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of drink mixing, garnishing, and serving techniques.
• Proficiency in computer systems.
• Positive demeanor and strong communication abilities.
• Capability to keep the bar area organized, stocked, and clean.
• Relevant certification in bartending or mixology.
