Overview:
This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a skilled Building Management Systems (BMS) specialist. As a key member of our Facilities Maintenance Department, you will be responsible for installing, operating, and repairing BMS systems, as well as performing routine maintenance tasks on various building-related systems.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Installs, operates, and repairs BMS systems, including HVAC equipment, intelligent lighting controls, gate and door controls, and other automation systems.
- Assists the Senior Trades Specialist with overseeing Fire Alarm and Fire Sprinkler systems, including scheduling and testing these systems.
- Performs routine maintenance tasks on various building-related systems, including carpentry, painting, plumbing, mechanical, and related tasks.
- Updates work order systems and related databases to document and facilitate maintenance operations, ensuring compliance with applicable policies and procedures.

Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associates Degree or technical certification preferred.
- Four years of experience in equipment operation or technical repair, preferably in building maintenance trades.
- Valid, unrestricted North Carolina driver's license required; willingness to obtain a valid NC driver's license within 60 days of hire if currently holding another state driver's license.
- Ability to work during all types of weather and participate in ongoing rotational stand-by/recall duty.
- Willingness to work on equipment on high roofs or off tall ladders/scaffolds.
