Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Manager to join our team at SONIC Drive-In. Key Responsibilities
  • Manage, train, and monitor team members to ensure excellent customer service and quality food production.
  • Deploy employees effectively to ensure all aspects of food service meet operational standards.
  • Adhere to and monitor employee compliance with company policies and practices.
  • Perform restaurant opening and closing duties, including inventory management and cash handling.
  • Monitor and adjust staffing levels, inventory levels, and food cost control to optimize restaurant performance.
  • Assist with administrative duties, including maintaining files, records, and required documentation.
  • Reinforce a customer service mentality and ensure all employees are focused on guest satisfaction.
  • Respond promptly and respectfully to guest requests and complaints.
  • Keep the General Manager informed about issues affecting restaurant operations.
Requirements
  • Ability to work irregular hours, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • General knowledge and understanding of the restaurant industry or retail operations.
  • Minimum 6 months' restaurant management experience (QSR) or 1 year entry-level retail management experience required.
  • Effective communication skills, basic math, reading, and computer skills.
  • Ability to follow directions, work with autonomy, multitask, and successfully solve problems.
  • Willingness to abide by company appearance, uniform, and hygiene standards.
  • Friendly and smiling faces that enjoy providing courteous food service to our guests.
  • Professional individuals who value people and demonstrate respect for others.
  • A team player willing to meet and exceed drive-in goals and objectives.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and lead team members.
