Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Operating Room at Florida Medical Center. As a key member of our perioperative team, you will deliver high-quality patient care and collaborate with medical staff to ensure seamless care transitions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver advanced professional and technical nursing care to adult and geriatric surgical patients during the perioperative period.
  • Collaborate with medical staff and ancillary personnel to provide age/developmentally appropriate care in accordance with unit standards.
  • Perform nursing techniques for patient comfort and well-being, preparing equipment and assisting physicians during treatments and examinations.
  • Act as a resource person to meet department needs, including functioning as a preceptor to new employees and charge nurse when assigned.
Requirements
  • Current Florida RN License
  • Current BLS Certification
  • Current ACLS Certification
  • CNOR preferred
  • One year peri-operative experience preferred
  • Effective oral communication skills in the English language
