Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Steward to join our team at Morrison Healthcare. As a Steward, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen work areas and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure all kitchen areas, equipment, and utensils are clean and sanitized to meet safety and sanitation standards.
  • Operate large electric machines such as dishwashers, sanitizers, and trash compactors.
  • Wash and sanitize all food preparation surfaces, including worktables, walls, refrigerators, and meat blocks.
  • Segregate and remove trash and garbage, and place it in designated containers.
  • Wash and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and other food preparation equipment.
  • Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas, observing all safe lifting standards.
  • Assist with banquet table and front-of-house set up as requested.
  • Load, unload, and deliver supplies and product as needed.
  • Distribute supplies, utensils, and portable equipment as required.
  • Comply with all outlined sanitation and safety requirements.
