Stability Direct is seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team in a dynamic and challenging role.
Job SummaryWe are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to perform x-ray duties, including fluoroscopy and operating c-arms in OR and Pain Management settings.
Key Responsibilities- Administer x-rays using prescribed techniques and ensure proper orientation, identification, and marking of images before transmission to PACS.
- Prepare rooms, equipment, solutions, and materials as needed for patients and maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Document fluoro time, schedule cases in IDX, and resolve exceptions as necessary.
- Protect patients and staff from injury and unnecessary radiation by observing and utilizing adequate Technique Factors and ALARA.
- Assist in training new staff members and students and perform other duties as assigned.
- Maintain patient modesty and confidentiality, adhere to hospital dress codes, and demonstrate commitment to attendance standards.
- Assist in emergency situations, transport patients, and arrange for transportation to and from nursing units.
- Trade/Vocational School Graduate of an approved school of x-ray technology.
- High School or equivalent.
- Less than 1 year of experience preferred but not necessary.
- Licensed Radiologic Technologist with current and valid NJ licensure.
- CPR - Cardiac Pulmonary Resuscitation certification.
Full-time position with varied shifts, including evenings and days, with some call required and occasional weekend work.
