Cedarhurst Senior Living is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Nurse to join our team at our Cedarhurst of Canton community. As a Licensed Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, promoting their physical, personal, and emotional well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide nursing care to residents in accordance with their individualized care plans and state/federal regulations.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to ensure effective care delivery and resident satisfaction.
  • Conduct regular assessments and revise care plans as needed to ensure residents receive the best possible care.
  • Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians, and document all pertinent information.
  • Develop and implement resident education plans to promote independence and self-care.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Supervise and monitor medications for residents who self-administer, and document all relevant information.
  • Participate in fall prevention programs and maintain a restraint-free environment.
  • Respond to life-saving situations and emergencies in accordance with nursing standards and protocols.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing school and a current state license for LPN or RN.
  • 1+ years of nursing experience preferred, but new graduates are welcome.
  • CPR and BLS certification preferred.
  • Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems and Microsoft Office programs.
