Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse LPN to join our care team at SKLD Muskegon. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care, including administering medications, performing treatments, and documenting patient information.
  • Assess patient conditions, develop care plans, and implement interventions to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with the nursing leadership team to plan, develop, and implement facility operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Supervise and mentor Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and State Tested Nursing Assistants (STNAs), providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of best practices in patient care.
Requirements
  • Current state license as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
  • CPR certification.
  • One year of professional nursing experience in a long-term care setting, preferred.
  • Knowledge of applicable state nursing regulations, preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize responsibilities.
  • Basic computer knowledge, with proficiency in electronic medical records systems.
  • Ability to apply mathematical concepts to practical situations.
