Aston Carter is seeking a highly skilled Financial Project Coordinator to join our team. As a Financial Project Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the financial success of our capital projects.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with project managers to develop and manage project budgets, ensuring alignment with our capitalization policy.
- Establish and maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including fixed assets and project spending.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, including monthly forecasts and quarter-end closing tasks.
- Review and process intercompany transactions related to capital projects, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Perform account reconciliations and analysis to ensure the accuracy of capital spending reconciliation.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with project stakeholders, including project managers, team members, and external partners.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Minimum 3+ years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a project-based environment.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- SAP experience is a plus.
