Independent Optometrist Opportunity

Join Walmart as an Independent Optometrist and take a leading role in patient care for eye and vision health, as well as general well-being. As an independent lease holder, you will have the autonomy to establish your days of practice, hours of operation, patient schedule, and fee schedule. You will also have the opportunity to opt into equipment, instrumentation, administrative, and/or opt-tech support services for a fair market value.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality eye and vision care services to patients
  • Establish and maintain a professional and welcoming practice environment
  • Manage patient schedules and appointments
  • Develop and implement effective marketing strategies to attract and retain patients
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in optometry and vision care
Requirements
  • Doctor of Optometry (OD) from an accredited optometry school
  • Valid state optometry license
  • General Liability Certificate
  • Professional Liability Insurance Certificate
  • W-9
