We're seeking a skilled Cardiac Cath Lab RN for an immediate travel nurse opening in Portland, OR. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of recent acute care experience and a strong background in cardiovascular surgical nursing.
As a Cath Lab RN, you'll work with a highly skilled team of medical professionals in a fast-paced cardiovascular surgical environment. Your responsibilities will include assisting physicians with cardiac catheterization, angioplasties, and electrophysiology procedures. You'll also be responsible for maintaining and monitoring EKG equipment, as well as assisting with the implantation of pacemakers and ICDs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist physicians with complex cardiovascular procedures
- Maintain and monitor EKG equipment
- Assist with angioplasties, valvuloplasties, and stent placements
- Help implant pacemakers and ICDs
Requirements:
* ACLS certification
* BLS certification
* 1 year of recent acute care experience
* Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.
