ResponsibilitiesCore Duties:
- Perform financial analysis and assist in the development and implementation of budgetary processes.
- Generate financial reports, schedules, and analyses to support budgeting efforts.
- Collaborate with the Budget Director and CFO to deliver essential financial insights.
- Assist Principal Investigators in the preparation and submission of proposals.
- Manage Oracle system maintenance tasks for the Budget Office.
- Contribute to the formulation and revision of Budget Office procedures and documentation.
- Efficiently complete any additional assigned responsibilities.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management, or a related discipline; an MBA is advantageous.
- 5-8 years of experience in budgeting and financial management.
- Familiarity with Oracle financial systems is beneficial.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Expertise in developing and managing financial spreadsheets.
- Strong understanding of Cost Accounting and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and proficiency in analyzing business decisions.
- Outstanding organizational skills to manage multiple responsibilities.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Aptitude for building strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to independently research, interpret, and present data effectively.
- Capacity to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google applications.
