Position Details:

We are in search of an experienced Associate Attorney to join our vibrant team. This full-time role presents an exciting chance to engage with a variety of complex cases. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in areas such as white-collar crime, criminal defense, healthcare law, Title IX litigation, student disciplinary matters, vehicular offenses, intricate civil litigation, and anti-corruption efforts. The Associate Attorney will collaborate closely with our seasoned legal professionals to deliver outstanding legal support to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

As an Associate Attorney, your responsibilities will include:

1. Representing clients in legal proceedings or before governmental bodies, presenting evidence to advocate for clients or pursue defendants in civil or criminal cases.
2. Selecting jurors, arguing motions, meeting with judges, and questioning witnesses throughout trials.
3. Analyzing and interpreting laws, rulings, and regulations for individuals and organizations.
4. Presenting and summarizing cases to judges and juries effectively.
5. Drafting legal briefs and opinions, and filing appeals in various courts.
6. Evaluating potential case outcomes based on legal precedents.
7. Reviewing legal data to assess the viability of defending or prosecuting lawsuits.
8. Developing strategies and arguments in preparation for case presentations.
9. Advising clients on business transactions, liability claims, and legal rights and obligations.
10. Collecting evidence to build defenses or initiate legal actions through client and witness interviews.

Qualifications:

1. Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited institution.
2. Admission to the State Bar.
3. At least 5 years of experience in a similar role.
4. Demonstrated expertise in white-collar crime, criminal defense, healthcare law, Title IX litigation, student discipline, vehicular offenses, complex civil litigation, and anti-corruption.
5. Strong negotiation, advocacy, and problem-solving abilities.
6. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the capacity to engage effectively with clients, judges, and opposing counsel.
7. Proficiency in legal research tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
8. Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines efficiently.
9. Strong analytical skills with a proactive approach to resolving challenges.
10. High ethical standards and professional integrity.
