We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced dental assistant to join our team at Advanced Dentistry South Florida. As a dental assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our dental team in delivering high-quality services.
Responsibilities- Prepare treatment rooms for patients by following established protocols and procedures.
- Prepare patients for dental treatment by welcoming, comforting, and seating them.
- Provide information to patients and employees by answering questions and requests.
- Provide instrumentation by sterilizing and delivering instruments to the treatment area.
- Provide diagnostic information by exposing and developing radiographic studies.
- Maintain patient appearance and ability to masticate by fabricating temporary restorations.
- Help dentists manage dental and medical emergencies by maintaining CPR certification and emergency supplies.
- Educate patients by giving oral hygiene and postoperative instructions.
- Document dental care services by charting in patient records.
- Maintain patient confidence and protect operations by keeping information confidential.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- X-ray and EFDA license.
- At least 4 years of experience working as a dental assistant.
